A Jim Carrey movie with beautiful cinematography and a story that makes little sense even for a fantasy.

I didn’t really get this film but at least the main theme by Peter Sarstedt brought back some nice memories.

Is losing a girlfriend worth commiting suicide? Of course not. Life is full of beautiful things and miracles that are worth living for. Tarsem Singh’s charming film is a prime example for this.

A huge disappointment. Being a big fan of the original trilogy I expected at least some entertainment but all I got was an extremely weak story with bad acting, annoying CGI and lame jokes. I stopped the DVD playback after 20 minutes (right after the embarrasing nuclear explosion scene) and I’m still wondering why I got back to it. There isn’t really anything positive I could tell about this movie. It’s just like the Star Wars sequels… they should have never been made.

Okay, this was a very lame horror movie. I expected something exciting because the story was set in the Mexican jungle with archaeological digs and Mayan temples mentioned in the synopsis but what you get here is a below par movie with bad acting.
